Chabot maintains this site for the personal use of those legally authorised to purchase alcoholic beverages and in countries where the purchase of alcoholic beverages is permitted.

By browsing this site, you are indicating acceptance of the terms set out below and undertaking to abide by them. Chabot reserves the right to modify the terms at any time and you should therefore re-examine them each time you access the Site.

Please leave this Site immediately if you do not accept these terms, if you are under the legal age for the purchase of alcoholic beverages in the country in which you are currently located or if you are in a country where the use of this Site is not permitted.

The document on "User Privacy Protection" forms part of these terms governing use of the Site.

1. Use of material - You may print out or cause to be printed out all downloadable material contained on this Site as long as the following five conditions are met: (A) the material is destined exclusively for personal and not commercial use; (B) no advice of copyright or reference to ownership rights is removed from the material; (C) the material is not in any way modified; (D) you are located in a country where the purchase of alcoholic beverages is permitted; (E) you are legally of age for the purchase of alcoholic beverages in the country in which you are located.

Copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property right - The content of the Site, including but not limited to all trademarks, designs, logos, texts, images, audio and video material is - unless expressly stated otherwise - the property of Chabot and its related companies ("exclusive property of Chabot"). This exclusive property of Chabot is protected under the law of France and of other countries worldwide and under the terms of international agreements. You do not have the right to remove from any item of the exclusive property of Chabot any notice of copyright or other reference to property rights. You may not copy, publish, download, display, reproduce, adapt, translate, distribute, modify, transmit, create a derivative work from or otherwise use the exclusive property of Chabot in any manner whatsoever without prior authorisation in writing from Chabot.

3. Absence of Licence - Apart from the limited uses of downloading and printing certain material from this Site for purely non-commercial and personal use, all copying whether in electronic, hard-copy or any other form, is strictly forbidden. You hereby acknowledge that you have been granted no user licence nor user right in any form to the exclusive property of Chabot in respect of the Site content, neither implicitly nor by barring plea nor by any other means. All rights and title in - and all interests in - all aspects of the exclusive property of Chabot will remain the exclusive property of Chabot.

4. Absence of Guarantees - You use this Site at your own risk. The Site and its content are provided "as is" and with no guarantee, whether explicit or implicit, of any sort, including but not limited to implicit guarantees of quality of goods as fit for sale, of non-violation of third party rights, in particular breach of intellectual property rights, fitness for a particular purpose, and all guarantees that access to the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that the Site will be protected or free from viruses or any other nuisance, or that the information provided on the Site will be complete, accurate or opportune.

Limitation of Liability - Within the limits of what is permitted under current legislation, neither Chabot nor its related companies, its executives or employees may be held liable to pay you any form of damages or compensation for any prejudice you may suffer of any nature whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or indirect prejudice corresponding to associated costs incurred, specific and repressive damages, loss of profits and damage resulting from loss of data, transmission times, fault, error, omission or interruption of service), arising from or related to the use or impossibility of using the Site and its content, whether by virtue of any guarantee, in contractual, legally punishable or any other terms, irrespective of whether Chabot may or may not have been negligent or may or may not have been aware of the possibility of such damage arising.

6. Information transmitted to the Site - With the exception of personal data, any information or other content ("the Content") you transmit to the Site by e-mail, recording, downloading or any other means, will be treated as non-confidential and as not being of an exclusive nature. In transmitting the Content to the Site, you are automatically granting Chabot a licence - free of royalties, perpetual, irrevocable and non-exclusive - to use, copy, distribute, reproduce, modify, publish, format, translate, incorporate into a derivative work, distribute and display the Content in whole or in part, using any form, medium or technology, either known at present or that may be developed in the future, and also to sub-license such rights to the Content. You also thereby grant Chabot the right to use the ideas, concepts, knowhow or techniques present in the Content, for any purpose whatsoever including but not limited to product development, manufacturing and marketing.

   You undertake not to transmit to the Site any illegal, fraudulent, threatening, defamatory, obscene, scandalous, pornographic or blasphemous content or any other Content which might constitute or encourage behaviour in breach of the law. Chabot will cooperate fully with all legal authorities or with any court injunction requesting or requiring Chabot to divulge the identity of, or assist in identifying or locating, anyone transmitting such content.

   Chabot reserves the right to filter out messages from any persons persistently adopting behaviour in breach of these Terms.

   Chabot does not pre-screen or check the Content transmitted to the site and is not responsible for its screening or checking.

   In transmitting Content to the Site, you acknowledge that Chabot has the right to withdraw and delete it from the Site as Chabot may see fit. If informed that the Content is in breach of the Terms, Chabot may decide to remove the Content from the Site. Chabot is under no obligation, however, to withdraw transmitted Content from the Site and accepts no liability arising from or relating to this Content, including but not limited to any error, slander, defamation, insult, omission, falsehood, obscenity, , pornography, blasphemy, danger or inaccuracy that may be found there. Chabot accepts no liability for any legal action brought in relation to the Content transmitted by or between you and a third party within or outside this Site.

7. Links -Chabot cannot under any circumstances be held liable for the content of any site to which you may be directed from this site. Chabot has no control over such sites, and neither publishes them nor monitors them.

8. Restriction, suspension and interruption - Chabot reserves the right to restrict, suspend or terminate your access to the site or to any function or part thereof, at any time and with or without prior notice.

9. Applicable Laws and Jurisdiction - These Terms and the "User Privacy Protection" document are governed by - and interpreted in accordance with - French law. You hereby irrevocably accept the jurisdiction of the French courts in any legal proceedings arising from or related to these Terms or to your browsing or use of this Site.
